Sports, arts and music
Looking for after VBS fun? Look no further! Camp S.A.M. offers (4) four afternoon camps (soccer, football, art and music) following Hope's SKY Vacation Bible School. All camps will transition from VBS to Camp S.A.M. at 12:30 pm moving from Home Rooms to the Hope Gym for lunch. An afternoon snack will be around 3:00 pm, with pick-up beginning at 4:30 pm. Last pick-up is at 5:00 pm.
Camp S.A.M is for boys and girls ENTERING the 1st-6th grades. Campers will check-in for VBS going directly to their Home Rooms, where their sack-lunch will be kept. Each camper will receive a Camp T-shirt, wrist-band for the week, and afternoon snack each day.
Sports
Soccer and football will be offered on the Hope Fields. Primary focus on camp is to develop individual skills, introduce team play, and teach a better understanding of how each game is played. Hope Gym as a back-up site in the event of bad weather. Campers are responsible for bring a ball, water bottle and sun screen.
Art
Projects for Art Camp will have a theme of Wild at Art - creating artwork based on our natural world. Camp will focus on learning, about a new artist and technique daily and create a work of art based on what has been learned.
The campers will prepare their projects for an Art Show, to be held downstairs in the main foyer next to the gym. Parents, as well as children from the Sports camp will complete the day with a performance from the Music campers in the South Hall.
Music
Everyone loves to Sing! Campers will enjoy a week of discovering their God-given vocal talents, learning how to sing together and performing music in several different styles that will challenge each at their own level.
A performance, beginning at 4:00 on Friday in the South Hall, will conclude camp and showcase their hard work over the week. Parents of all campers are invited to attend.
Deadline
Deadline to register is Tuesday, June 5. Each camp has a limited number of students, please register before the camps fill up!
