The Caring Ministry

We provide support to the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated, and others facing a crisis or life challenge. Our pastors, staff, deacons, and Stephen Ministers are willing to walk with you through the trials and triumphs on the journey of life.

Counseling

Biblically based, Christian counseling available to Hope members and regular attendees with a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist.  $20.00 per 50 minute session.  Email us or call 755-7721, for counseling information. For extensive counseling, please visit the Christian Psychological Center website for details on services which they provide.

Deacon Ministry

Deacons are the instrument for the ministry of compassion, and as such they demonstrate God’s love to the people of Hope Church. They are honored to have been given the privilege to pray and care for you.  Teams of five to nine Deacons serve in one of eleven geographic regions that cover Memphis and most of the surrounding communities. Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry is one-to-one Christian care for those going through a crisis or life challenge.  Click here for more information on how to receive the support and encouragement of a Stephen Minister.

Prayer Ministry

In need of prayer?  We want to know and are waiting to pray with and for you! Please submit your request online. Be assured that your request is taken very seriously and will be kept confidential.  In addition, Hope’s prayer room (Room 301) is staffed with pastors and elders after each service who welcome an opportunity to pray with you.

Hospital Visitation

A Caring Ministry team member will visit and pray with Hope members, visitors and/ or their immediate family while in the hospital. If you or a loved one would welcome visitation, make your request here.
